Location
Lanzo, the main centre of the D'Intelvi valley region, is in the very north of Lombardy – 20 minutes from Argegno on Lake Como and 10 minutes from Lake Lugano in Switzerland.From the end of the nineteenth century, the centre became a much appreciated residential area and numerous splendid villas were built. Lanzo is a well known winter tourist resort, provided with climbing facilities and skiing tracks; it is also a point of departure for climbing routes on the neighbouring mountains.
